Use Capti to listen to news, blogs, online books, encyclopedias, and other web pages on the go or while relaxing. Browse the Web with a built-in browser, add web pages to Capti's playlist, listen to them at your convenience, and share them with your friends. When possible, Capti will skip the clutter, download articles that span multiple web pages, and read only the main content. Capti uses a built-in TTS with American English natural sounding voices and will read from your playlist even if you are offline. Capti can also be used in parallel with VoiceOver. Capti can be used on iPhone or iPod Touch, and it will soon be coming to iPad. More voices and languages will also become available.

INSTRUCTIONS:
* Tap the ‘Read’ button in the toolbar to add the current web page to the playlist;
* Tap and hold any link to add the linked web page to the playlist;
* Tap the Playlist button in the toolbar to switch to an iPod-like playlist;
* View tracks in the order they were added, or sort to show unread tracks first;
* Control playback, scroll through the text of a playing article, or speed up speech;
* Tap and hold a track to share it via Twitter, Facebook, SMS/iMessage, or E-mail, or reopen in browser;
* Tap the star to bookmark a page, tap it again to remove or customize the bookmark;
* Open Capti settings to switch between female and male voices and change speech rate.
POPULAR WEBSITES:
* News on www.instapaper.com - open Instapaper website, then add articles to playlist.
* E-books on www.fanfiction.net - open books, then add individual chapters as tracks.
* E-books on www.gutenberg.org - navigate to the book you want to read, then tap:
- “HTML” link to read the entire book; OR
- "Read this e-book online..." link to read page by page or at 25-page increments
LIMITATIONS:
* Long documents, such as books may freeze Capti and make it unresponsive;
* Main content extraction may not work on all websites (works where competitors fail);
* Documents added by press-and-holding on links may not load correctly due to redirects;
* Articles spread across multiple pages may not always be detected;
* Only up to 25 pages will be loaded for multi-page web documents;
* PDF, DOC, email, or front pages of news sites are not yet handled;
* Track duration in playlist is computed approximately;
* Landscape mode is not yet supported;
